I never usually leave reviews, partly due to being lazy, but also because, in my experience, almost every hotel or B&B stay isn't perfect and at least one aspect of my stay gives me no reason to rave about the rest of it or recommend it to others. Not so in this case. From the second you walk through the door, the atmosphere is almost indescribable. The background music generates a relaxing mood. The decor everywhere is fantastic. The service professional and friendly. Rooms and communal areas spotless. Beds super comfortable. Silent location all night, even with the windows open.We were told we were in their smallest room, which was more than adequate. Then we noticed the complementary home made flapjacks, which was the first nice little touch of many. The breakfast the next morning was stunning, I still wish I had more room to try the home made granola and yogurt. Had I been staying more than one night, I would have started with this the following morning. They were more than happy to modify the menu to cater for us awkward vegetarians. If you're reading this from overseas and want to experience a 'proper' British bed and breakfast (albeit French inspired style) then book here now, you won't be disappointed. The location is also perfect, a really short walk to the seafront, pubs, restaurants and shops but just enough out of the way to be able to avoid the hustle and bustle of a seaside town.Even out of season, I believe the proprietors are undercharging by 50-100%. The facilities, food and service rivals that offered by top hotels.

Superb b & b. Nice owners, superb staff. Rooms neat and tidy. Breakfast choice superb. Will stay again.

Hotel is quirky and characterful with a theatre theme. Less than 5 mins walk from beach front and main shopping street. Parking on site is free.Breakfast has a really good selection of fresh fruit (mango, pineapple, berries etc) plus usual yoghurts and cereals. Variety of cooked breakfasts available - full English was pleasant enough. Staff were courteous and professional. The room we had was on the small side (Garrick) and only 20 less a night than other larger rooms. Water pressure and temperature control in the shower were very poor. Bathroom in need of updating in general.Fluffy towels and robes provided as well flapjacks and jelly babies which were a nice touch.

Our favourite place to stay in sheringham. Fabulous hosts and lovely staff team. Our room was very comfortable with little extras such as freshly made flapjacks and bathrobes add a touch of luxury. Plus the best breakfast anywhere. Hope to be back soon.

Having had many lovely holidays this surpassed them all for friendliness and quality of room. We would thoroughly recommend it, especially the breakfast. Excellent. Definitely will return.
