I was visiting Sheringham for a wedding and Alton House was recommended by a friend. What an amazing place! Everything you could ever need at this beautifully decorated b+b. I had room number one, which has both a bath and a walk in shower. A really spacious bedroom with a comfortable king size bed. Also provided - dressing gown, slippers, a fridge with milk and bottled water (with new bottles provided each day). Thank you Andrew and James for a wonderful stay and also for looking after my dietary requirements at breakfast. Definitely five stars from me!

This is a superb location for a bed and breakfast stay in Sheringham. Alton House has only been open around a year and the hosts have really tried to think of everything to cater for your stay. The rooms are very clean and well layed out. The hosts have a fine eye for detail. The breakfasts were good and I will certainly visit here again.
Really really nice place to stay. Hosts are very welcoming, facilities were exactly what you'd want when away from home, and more. Excellent attention to detail. I would not hesitate in recommending to anyone.
This is a perfect place to stay. Wonderful new facilities, including stunning bathroom and bedroom. Walk in shower and bath Coffee machine provided and even a fridge. The owners are so friendly and eager to please. Amazing cooked breakfast or cereal and yogurt. Each table has its own toaster and fresh white or brown bread.Well worth the money! I shall certainly be staying there again. It's a perfect location and 5 minutes from town center.
