We walked our toddler and dog through the woods to get to the tea room, only to find it was closed, despite the notice board near the entrance saying it was open Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon, April to October. Very disappointed, as we were on holiday and had gone to the woods specifically to visit the tea room after seeing it on Google Maps. My mum had also had a long drive to Norfolk, so we thought we'd pop out to the tea room for a late lunch and drink as soon as she arrived. Obviously we can't give any stars as we couldn't eat there. Make sure you check the website first. (Visited 3pm on Mon 1 Oct 2018).
Stopped here for lunch 3rd September 18. Our second visit. We ordered a ploughman's lunch and prawn mayo sandwich. So disappointed. I had to wring the water out the prawn sandwich. It was dripping all down my jeans. Plough man's was awful. Stale bread and pork pie. No dressing on salad. Coffees were cold. Won't stop again.
Great service in a very attractive garden, we had cream teas - amazing freshly baked scones, will definitely go back.
It was perfect the staff are really lovely. The food is really good very tasty and we'll presented. Well worth a visit
