Fabulous food, extensive menu, including vegetarian/vegan. Try the stew and dumplings, a great winter warmer. Treat yourself to one of the yummy sweets.
Nice little eating place for lunch or elevenses. Can get a bit too crowded as not very big inside but food good and prices keen. Weather permitting, tables outside to sit at. Very popular during the summer this year.

A real gem of a place with a great selection of home cooked food with at least half as many vegetarian dishes. Table service, family run and friendly.Stopped with my two daughters for a bite to eat and was not disappointed!
I love this cafe, and I would say it is one of the best in the area! The food is decently priced, and portions are big and hearty. The staff are very polite, although food can take a long time if the cafe is busy. There is inside and outside seating, despite being a small place. The desserts are my favourite - especially the red velvet cheesecake!
