Very nice evening. Charming young waitress and waiter. Greeted with a lovely glass of warm mulled wine. Innovative menu - I had minced lamb steak in a gin & peppercorn sauce, my wife cod with Brie. Naughty desserts. Good bottle of wine and coffee and the bill excl tip was less than 50. Only reason why not 5* is I always find the tables sticky?
As someone who loves German food I didn't imagine I would find a restaurant in a small coastal town that had a great selection of dishes!! Such a find. The restaurant is quite small but so quaint and with great Austrian/German ski lodge feel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and they have a good selection of drinks. Great desserts to! I wish we had longer in the area as I'd be back. Something to note is they don't accept credit cards so make sure you have cash - although if you forget there are 3 cash machines on the road outside. Yummy yummy yummy food! Currywurst would be my suggestion

What a find! Really great to have a restaurant in a busy seaside town which is genuinely different. Loved the variety of the menu, but more than that, the fact everything is made fresh on the premises. I had a Schnitzel and could hear the meat being flattened in the kitchen. Prices were good, particularly the daily specials. Must book to make sure of a table. We were there on holiday for the first time, but obvious from the other eaters that it is as good now as it has been for the past 15 years. Popular with the locals too, a really good sign!
Food is still as amazing as it was 15 years ago. Quirky little restaurant. Great service
