DO.NOT.GO.HEREI recently booked in with Kaylea, their graduate hair stylist for a head of highlights & cut. I initially emailed them on facebook to see if they needed any 'models' - to which my delight, they replied & said they did require them. I booked in with Kaylea via phone saying I would like to have blonde highlights to which she said was absolutely fine. I even text the day before to confirm my appointment. I arrived to the appointment at 3pm today after a 35 minute drive from our home - we dont live near Sheringham but as Kaylea reassured me she would be able to do my hair, I attended the appointment despite the long drive. To my horror, when I turned up - the place was empty and had no atmosphere and I was greeted by an older lady saying 'Sorry theres a problem' - she then told me the graduate was in no way or shape qualified to do blonde highlights on my hair. She offered a bit of an apology but no where near what I would expect considering it was a 1 hour round trip for me. She didn't offer me any kind of solution or alternative (why couldn't she of cut my hair instead, at least this would soften the blow a little!). They even had the cheek to blame it on me saying 'we dont take bookings via facebook' when 1. I only initially enquired on facebook and then Kaylea rung me and 2. You DID take a booking on facebook - how am I supposed to know this isnt the normal route? All I can say is please dont visit this salon - their customer service and attitude is absolutely appalling, its like they are stuck in the 60's! I asked if I could send them some feedback via email, and hilariously they asked me to put it in writing as they dont have an email address - oh goodness me! Won't be returning that's for sure!
