First of all.....I stupidly took my bike to Halfords to get it fixed, after me buying 2 parts..the Halfords lot told me they could do no more and said the only option is to turn it into a fixie.I then enquired at black bikes and Greg was a massive help, he told me more about my bike in 5 minutes of chatting than Halfords told me the whole 2 weeks they had it! The problem was fixed just like new, friendly reliable service, these guys know what they are doing! You will not be disappointed!Thanks again BlackBikes!
Great service. Worn out front derailleur and chain ring, bought them new parts as they did not have them in stock and they were fitted and reindexed in 3 hours. A good LBS, support it!
Whilst I like your Evans and Halfords stores cos you get good deals on new stuff plus 10% off as a British Cycling member, you just cannot beat your local bike shop for knowledge and real personal service. Bought a secondhand Raleigh for our daughter here - really good value fully serviced bike - that kind of deal isnt available at the big stores
My son's Specialized was in need of a service so we tried Black Bikes on the strength of a recommendation. Couldn't be happier - a very thorough job done for a more than fair price, ready earlier than expected, plus really friendly, knowledgeable guys.
